C14 OTA, 'FastStar' ready

Sold

C14 OTA Black[/I] tube USA made, 'FastStar' ready with Starbright XLT coatings. Also includes the Bisque locking collar. For those unaware, this modification allows the primary mirror to be rigidly locked in place to prevent 'mirror flop'. Although currently not used, the sought after accessory is included with the telescope. The FastStar ready secondary includes 'Bob's Knobs' for much easier collimation. Also included a very nice FTM-C14 Feather Touch Micro Focuser.

Homeyer C14 Cradle, the only way to mount a C14 without flexure.
built to eliminate the problem of gross flexure when mounting large or heavy SCT type telescopes. The Cradle is a precision machined unit that goes exactly one half the way around the actual body tube of the SCT. It is lined with a layer of hard felt to prevent any scratching of the paint. The scope is held into this cradle with stainless steel hose clamp style straps. This allows a dove tail mounting system to still be used on the top to hold anything one is inclined to mount up there.

C-14 Carbon Fiber Tube. (The Public Missiles C-14 tube price is $569.95 ($800 AUD). Shipping from USA by FedEx economy would be $600 +) I will fit the CF tube and collimate.

Some marks and scrapes on the tube, optically in perfect condition.
Original C14 d plate included. Homeyer Cradle fitted with Losmandy D plate.

All of the above $3,800 AUD
Just the additional items, Carbon Fiber Tube, Homeyer Cradle, Bisque locking collar would cost over $2,400 AUD.
