Zoom EP or Barlow/Powermate?

Want to do some planetary and lunar imaging (got a used QHY5L VERY cheaply just for this purpose), and undecided on the best platform in terms of EP projection - go with a 2X or 3X Barlow/Powermate or buy one of the zoom EP's that have the male T thread on the end (screws directly to a CCD/CMOS camera, or onto a T mount for a DSLR) Price is similar.

Been thinking to go the 7-21 zoom EP and try that, but also considering one of the ED glass triplet barlows.

I guess I will opt to go with the Confudulating Systematic Non-Responsive Hydromatic hyperdrive collating eyepiece.
