Orion Starshoot Autoguider - Is the Software CD-ROM Required...

...or can I get away with downloading drivers and guiding software off a website?

you need the driver in the first instance, i use the USB driver on the CD, but i have changed my version of PHD

That's what I did, I download the driver from the Astrosoft website and then got the lastest PHD and all works sweet.

Search SSAG driver on google.

FWIW Dont try to install the ssag drivers on a 64 bit machine either..... no worky....... Grrrrrrr
