Here's a cheap way for someone to get going with a Digital Setting Circle.
This interesting device was bought ages ago from BATSC (now the bintel Melbourne store) Unfortunately I can't find any information on it so I don't know how big the catalog is etc...
But from what I can tell when I power it up is it has Constellation, Solar, Messier, SAO, + you can enter custom RA/DEC. It is designed to fit a 8" dob.
The device does need a little TLC as you can see from the photos. The Altitude access plastic piece is cracked where some of the screws go in. The Azimuth circle joins together with some headers which probably could do with some replacing.
