Carina with 135mm

Thought I would pair my Samyang 135mm with ASI 533 MC pro.
This image is 37 x 180 sec fully calibrated including dithering and Drizzle.
From Bortle 6 through L-Enahance Filter. Processed in Pixinsight.

High res here https://astrob.in/pvqacz/0/

Next time im going to up to 240 sec and set the gain at 90 (from 100) to keep the core tame and get more finer detail on the outer regions.

The more I see from this lens, the more I want it. Seems like an absolute winner.
That's a beauty, Paul. Well done.

You could also always exposure blend. Keep your current data, then just increase exposure time (and keep gain at 100), then blend the two results in PS. You'll get more fainter nebulosity details in the edges, and retain the detail in the core.

Thanks Andy! The 135mm Samyang produces some good quality for the price. Yes good idea I can always add some Ha!

Nice wide field view Paul. The Samyang range of lens are great for this type of work

Thanks Rodney! It certainly is! I got to take another image in the same region which I,m about to post also. Was going to wait for some more data but at this iamge scale, and with that lens, probably not much point past 3 hours.

Thank Marc! Wide with this ASI 533 is better than the canon 500d in so many ways!
