Tube rings on a C9.25”?

Has anyone put tube rings on a C9.25” ? The tube is aluminium so I wonder if it would cause flexure issues? I’ve done this with a SW 180 mak , but here the tube was steel! The reason I want to do this is I want to mount another scope on top and reason the screws holding the dovetail bar are quite small compared to those holding the tube rings to the dovetail bar. A pair of 285mm tube rings could be packed out to fit the 265mm tube diameter without any problem. Any help appreciated.

I used the C925 for many years with a Losmandy type dovetail and an ADM mini bar on top for electronic guider etc etc
Worked well for me.
No need to use rings.

I have tube rings with my C11 and it was a lot more stable for me. Do you want to use the extra scope as a guider? I would recommend an OAG instead.

Thanks for all the info , I wanted to mount my 60mm Lunt solar scope on top so that I would have easy access to both.
