Synscan controller

I have a synscan V3 controller with V3.35 firmware..

Should I update it? if so how without a serial com connector?

There's no real need to upgrade (I'm still happily using the V3.27).
The latest (and last) V3 upgrade is 3.39.05.

If you have the standard SW "upgrade" cable, then you need a Serial to USB adaptor. I use a Keyspan adaptor.

I bought the mount second hand and didn't come with the cable to update.

If you're still using v3.27 happily then no real need for me to update, it's causing no problems.
