C/ 2013 X1 Panstarrs for 27 06 16 widefield & 8" view.

Comet C/ 2013 X1 Panstarrs for 27 June 2016 ACST.
Two images tonight, 50mmwide field X1 bottom right corner, the tail of Scorpius to the left lobetr and catspaw nebula to the upper left.
The second image is my usual 8" astrograph image. The dust tail curving quite dramatically now, The ion tail seems to be gone. Pretty sure Iv'e got the tail order right?
Also an observation. Using a neaby Mag 7.4 GSC star, best I could only convince myself of is an estimate of 7.0, DC=3-4 Coma 2.4 arc minutes,Instrument 8" F/f reflector at 48x magnification.

Cheers,

Justin.

Lovely images Justin. Having the wide field and close up pics together gives a really nice perspective.

Thanks Pete!

Should be some great photo opportunities as it cruises though the Milkyway.

Cheers,

Justin.
