Imaging Sunlight

http://www.springer.com/us/book/9783319248721
This will be the first book published dedicated to the SHG. It contains a review of all the commercial solar filters available to the amateur as well as telescopes, cameras and detailed construction notes on a couple of basic SHG.

There is also an extensive chapter covering the design and construction of SHG's around the world contributed by experienced amateurs.

Concludes with the history and details of the SHS option.

This looks to be excellent Ken, and I feel a bit bad that it is not an area of interest for me, cos it would be quickly in my collection otherwise.
Good luck with the sales, I hope it flies out the door to reward you hard work.

Thanks for the kind words Trevor......
The sections on commercial solar filters, solar features (Photospheric and Chromospheric), as well as the history of solar observing seem to be well accepted and of use to all solar observers.
I'm currently documenting the design and construction of a 100mm aperture Littrow based SHG which I'll post on the astronomical spectroscopy group (and here on IIS if the interest is there)
