Explore Scientific - 2" Field Flattener for Explore Scientific ED APO Telescopes

Brand new, never used.

Purchased when I was in the USA a few years ago from Telescopes.net.

https://telescopes.net/store/explore...elescopes.html

Mine was missing the black bit (shown on the website). It's an M42 screw thread (I tested it with an M42 adapter I got).
Now it makes sense why I couldn't attach it to my scope, it was missing that section. I ended up buying another flattener because I needed a reducer/flattener combo.

Unfortunately I did pay $179.99 USD ($250 AUD) + shipping for it at the time (didn't even realise it was missing that adapter).

Buying brand new would be around $300 AUD inc. shipping after conversion.

It's brand new but since it's missing the adapter I will sell this for $180 inc. shipping. Comes with the dust cap and original box.

You may have the suitable adapters in your kits already to screw onto it, I know I do!

PM if interested.

I’m interested for my ED80 but a little confused - is the M42 adaptor “the black bit” included or is it not? Thanks

Not included.

The black bit you see in the photos is the dust cap.

Where the thread is you would screw an M42 ring and then whatever adapter you need for your camera.
