For sale is an as-new Antares branded Long Perng low profile hybrid focuser. It combines the best features of both Crayford and rack and pinion focusers. I have reshimmed the rack and pinion to remove all backlash while preserving the smooth movement. Originally intended to use on my Mak Newt but lost interest in astronomy so it is in unused condition.
