M83 on a rare clear night in Huonville!

Hi all,
Here is my M83 taken Monday 8/06 from Huonville bortle 3 skies.
It was the evening after full moon so lots of moonlight but i wanted to test my new camera, ASI2600

This was my first full run also using Nina which worked perfectly including the meridian flip.
capture details as follows:
Gain 100
temp -10
lights x 70 captured @180s, processed best 60 in APP
Darks x 30
flats done with nina flats and tshirt method x 30
dark flats x 30
bias x 100
Orion Eon 115mm F7

I processed it in a trial version that i am using of Astro pixel processor which i am finding really good and easy to learn.
I then did a bit of levels and curves in photoshop.
I am new to all of this and delighted with what i have here, happy to take feedback for things to focus on.

Thanks all for your help that i have taken from your posts over the last year or so

You've captured a lot of detail, and you've processed it very well.
I'd be very chuffed with that result, well done

That a nice M83 considering the moon was up
I think you will exceed your expectations with that new camera under some dark nights
Well done !

Nice M83 image Jack. Great to see some images from Huonville. I'm looking forward to those skies in my near future.

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments.
Hopefully the run of weather improves, we normally do get some clear long and dark winter nights down here. There is light pollution from the town but that doesn’t spread out too far, you won’t struggle to find a dark site down here to live Peter.

Looks like you found the sweet spot for your new camera quickly. Great image. LRGB I assume.

This is the camera I got:

https://astronomy-imaging-camera.com...00mc-pro-color

There are a few discussions on cloudy nights about gain settings that are worth reading.
I went with 100 gain but will probably try a 0 as well to determine which if any is better.
I just shot from the camera as it is, RGGB, no filter, although it does have the IR cut protective window .
I have a lot to learn with this camera , I will enjoy seeing what others do with it as I see a couple of members now have one ordered.

Nice work looks like you've already got a good handle on the new camera. Congrats I'm sure there's plenty more to come.
