Pier with EQ6 extension pillar

Selling my pier with EQ6 extension pillar (also fits NEQ6 and AZEQ6 as they all share the same base plate). The EQ6 mount pictured has already been sold and is not part of the sale.

The pier is made of 100x100mm steel. I had gussets welded on the sides and filled it with sand, so it is quite heavy. The pier has been powder coated.

Base of pier to top plate is 920mm, with the pillar extension is 1150mm, which allows for easy reach of focusers. camera etc.

I set this up in my backyard 4 years ago, and it was a great investment. See my build here http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=136618

$200 pick up, courier at buyer's cost (will probably cost more than the pier )

PM me if you are keen.

thanks
Bo

In response to a query, I have uploaded how the extension pillar is attached to the top plate of the pier.

Photo 1 shows the pillar tube removed, leaving behind the bottom plug of the pillar attached to the adapter plate via the rusty central bolt.
Photo 2 shows the pillar plug removed, showing the adapter plate attached to the pier top plate via the four outer bolts.
Photo 3 shows the top plat of the pier without the adapter plate. The top plate is 250mm in diameter.

Hope that helps.

thanks
Bo

A quick update.
I have three expressions of interest so far, but all looking at after Xmas and new year period.
I am off line from Friday for a couple of weeks, so I will work through those EOIs first week of January.
If you want it now, it will have to be by Friday night latest.
Thanks
Bo
