Solar Activity 4th June 2020

Gong shows yesterdays spectacular prom in the NW.
The new active area moving in on the SE has already been given a number AR 2765. Seems to be showing a small sunspot in White light....

The new AR 2765 definitely shows a small spot in white light!
Images in CaK and H alpha to follow.
There's also a very large but diffuse prom visible on the west side.

Managed to have a look see - At last, a spot

Very poor seeing here in-between clouds, but grabbed a rough white light image before the heavy cloud rolled in. Hope it lasts (and the sun comes out again!)

Well done Jonathan!!
Definitely looks like a sunspot to me
My white light set-up has changed to the 4" Genesis and the Baader Cool Herschel wedge...needs a bit of final tweaking before it's ready for a camera...

This morning, I see a group of three Sunspots, a large, a small and a medium using solar projection with my Vixen ED 81mm.
