Focus shift with Baader MPCC MKIII Coma Corrector?

Haven't bought one yet so before I make permanent changes to my newt, does the Baader MPCC MKIII Coma Corrector have much of a focus difference between it and just a plain T - ring and adapter? For example if I have my present scope setup with T - adapter and DSLR camera and I already have good focus, what sort of focus shift can I expect with the MKIII? Will focus travel need to be adjusted inwards, outwards or roughly stay the same?

Hi Kevin,

I have the mark 3 but haven't really tested or noticed a significant change in focus with and without it.
Its possible but I wouldn't think its that much that the mirror has to be moved or anything like that.
As long as you have a few mm inward travel it should be fine.

Cheers
Alistair

Thanks Alistair. I'm in the process of modifying a 6" F6 newt and any information will come in handy, so thanks for that.

I just received an MPCC mk3 at the start of the week and tried testing focus a couple of nights ago. With my dslr, I have a 10mm spacer to give me enough travel, and when I put the spacer on the MPCC instead of the t-adaptor it works pretty much identically. So I have found it to be the same.
