k3ccdtools problems..... grumble grumble!

I've been having a bit of success using k3ccdtools for planetary imaging.. but one thing keeps sending me back to the crappy phillips software..

In K3ccdTools 1, I cant change any of the cameras settings appart from frame rate.

When i go into the settings that shows brightness, shutter speed, gain etc etc. all the sliders are greyed out, and hence unusable.

Anyone got any ideas?

I just had a thought that maybe the philips software is locking them.. i'll try uninstalling the philips program and see where that gets me and report back shortly..

Somewhere you have an "auto" check box ticked by the sounds of it. Also consider downloading WcCtrl for controlling your settings, it is a very handy little add on.
