Buying a Camera

I've found out my digital isn't suitable for astrophotography. I was looking for a relitavley cheap one that i could get some good 20 or 25 sec exposures out of. Which do you recommend?
Cheers,
Charlie

I have the Sony DSCP100, which can do up to 30 seconds.. I wouldn't say it's an astrophotography camera though.. ideally you want a DSLR.. but at 15 years old i'm sure it's not within your budget right now.

You've only just got binoculars.. are you sure you want a better camera before a scope?

I did some astrophotography using my kodak point and shoot 2 megapixel..

I have a Canon A85 and it can only take upto 15 seconds but you can adjust the ISO from 50 to 400.

There are people who have done a bit of astrophotography with this camera

check:

But as Iceman suggests maybe you want to think scope first then camera.
These cameras cost as much as a 6 inch Dob!
