Greg Bradley inspired M83.

Hi,

After seeing Greg's magnificent M83.
http://www.pbase.com/gregbradley/image/156443727/large

I had to have a go now that my scope is performing well.
Again I was restricted to only 35 minutes of data because of the weather but am pleased with the resolution, best I've ever had on M83.

And yes I did cheat on the red bits Allan.

A bit channel swapping.

Definitely want get more data, again the stars are a little off, balance issue and it doesn't help when I left white silica packets in the scope next the mirror.

8" F/4 astrograph HEQ pro 5 mount. Orion mini guider.

Unmodded canon 1100D, baader type III coma corrector.

7 x 5 minute subs, ISO 1600.
Stacked in DSS, processed in PS7.
Cheers,

Justin.

Love it. A crazy amount of detail for "micro" data.

Thanks Mike!

Nothing like a quick fix.

But I do want to get at least 3 hours on it with improved scope.

Thanks for the nice compliment.

That turned out very well for so short an exposure time.

Greg.
