A lot of it turned to mushy ice by the time it was at human height...I walked in it and I looked like a snowman. Then it started getting colder and firmed up.... the second hail storm that day was LOUD and VERY hard stones.

Coming from the UK nearly 30 years ago I never thought I would be happy to see a lot of rain, but....now I really would.
