Crux to Eta Carina

From the Southern Cross (Crux) to Eta Carina. A multi-shot mosaic using a 200mm lens on an Astrotrac. 6D full spectrum camera with a filter that passes visible + Ha. This is incomplete and there are faults with data, but hope to have from Alpha Centuri right through to Eta Carina soon and revising areas that need it.

A 6D mosiac would have to be a monster size. Your not doing it justice posting a 200k thumbnail of it. Apart from the high background level, its near impossible to judge its quality. A lot of work for a tiny low quality view.

Very cool field. Huge area. You've picked up a lot of the Ha regions.
