Processing NGC3579 hints please

I've had a few cracks at this lovely area of Carina half-way between the cross and eta. I was hoping to capture those faint filaments of nebulosity that bloom out of it in overlapping clouds - having seen some beautiful images by others that have managed it really well.
The attached is a fair representation of the best I can get with my limited skill-set in processing with PS.
The image is about 3 hours worth in 10 min subs with an ED127 with a QHY8 colour cam and stacked in DSS with all adjustments made in PS.
And suggestions that might help me draw more out of this data would be really welcome.

Peter.

Peter,

For a start, your black point is severely, severely clipped.

I think that's your biggest problem.

When processing, ensure that the marker under the histogram (shadows on the left) does not eat into the main curve of the histogram.

Work each channel individually so that the marker is before the curve.

Thanks H.
At the risk of straining your tolerance, would you mind having a look at this. I've taken your comment and applied it. The attached is a clip of the main nebula area. The violet fringing is probably indicative of being ever-so-slightly out of focus I'm guessing but that aside, have I exhausted these data or do you think there's more in there?
Peter.
