Meteor over Canberra

Just saw a huge meteor (or satellite breaking up) over the west of the Canberra skyline. Came from the south, relatively slowly, heading north. Took over 30 seconds to traverse from first view to when it disappeared behind clouds and from my position (on a hill south of Queanbeyan), looked to be only 10 to 20 degrees above the horizon. Large object, clearly breaking up, with reds and orange tail, white and green bursts in the main head and smaller pieces.

If I had to guess, I'd say it was heading toward yass or gunning from my position.

Anyone expecting a satellite to come down today?

Cheers,
David
