Amazing... Watch Apollo 11 full length mission "live" with transcript in “real time”

EDIT: I just looked at it on my mobile phone... the mobile edition is kinda rubbish, please do view it on a PC so you get video, transcripts, commentary etc.

Apologies if this has been linked elsewhere.

This is quite something. You can watch the full Apollo 11 mission as if reliving it when it happened, with all communications between mission control and the craft, in “realtime” with full transcript, milestones and commentary, TV telecasts from both mission control and from inside the craft... either from the beginning, or precisely 50 years ago to the second ("currently" they are sleeping as of the time of this post, but you can jump to some amazing timestamps with footage)

There is some pretty cool TV telecast footage from inside the craft starting in the milestones tab at 34:14:25 titled "Collins describes their comfortable home", running from that point on for about 20 minutes.

Also some amazing footage of earth from the craft at 34:03:44 which is not long after that particular TV cast starts.

The transcript does wonders for understanding what the heck they are saying .

Wow! Thankyou Andrew.
This is more than cool. I mean this website has some absolutely incredible video & audio, with the 'channels' you feel like you're in the mission control room.
What America did here in 1969 is an absolute testament to what mankind can achieve with a determined focus.
Again, I mention it was the technology of 1969!

I remember even at that time when in my Kindergarten class we walked over in the late morning to the 'TV' room to see live footage. Hearing the name Armstrong just seemed so appropriate.

At 48:49:44, Collins says that you can differentiate between stars
and waste water dump droplets from the differences in their motions.

I just looked at it on my mobile phone... the mobile edition is not particularly great... please do view it on a PC so you get video, transcripts, commentary etc.
