Zwo 120 mc

i am having some issues with my new ZWO 120 colour camera that i got for an all sky camera. i installed the driver, installed sharpcap and i am getting either an issue where all the frames are dropping and i dont get anything displayed and more recently i am just not able to to receive any images from the camera, no dropped frames, no successful frames. i have not had a smooth run with astro equipment of late but basically the process usually ends up with the hardware being faulty. has anyone else had this sort of issue before? just wondering if there is anything i can try. i have attempted to use different file types (FITS etc) i have also tried reducing the resolution and frame rate but nothing seems to work. the fact that now no images are being returned whatsoever seems somewhat pathological.

usb issues, try using the setting where you turn down the usb speed
Can't remember off the top of my head where that setting is but it's in the software.

http://astronomy-imaging-camera.com/software/ there is a tab which says SDK and Upgrade tool
There you will find the firmware upgrade for the usb2 cameras called FWupgrade tool.
Have you adjusted the usb traffic?

Tried changing cables?
Had a look at your windows version? Updated it? Seen if it's your laptop? Got enough hard drive space? Are you using an ssd or standard HDD?
If then still no luck best to take it back it could be a lemon.
