QLD Astrofest Night Scapes

While my telescope was doing it's thing on the imaging field, I went for walks with my 550D and a tripod, catching it all in a wider field of view.

Thanks.
My fav is the second one. It's grainy, I know, but it fits the mood.
The fog had well and truly taken hold, you could barely see down to the road. Most people were packing it in but a few diehards were still trying to image M31 through it.

Beautiful jjj brings back memories of the midnight fog and how eerily quiet it would get then!
