Looking at Jupiter, Not Really

Beautiful clear blue skies all day long here in Perth WA yesterday. I set up my scope at 4pm to give it plenty of time to acclimatise and had a nice dinner looking forward to nightfall.

Went outside and there it was - a cloudy sky again. You obviously need a lot of patience for this lark.

Better luck tonight I hope lol

If you think that you need patience you should try living here.

If the last two ASV meetings I've been to are any consolation, you will at the very least have other people to talk to about the clouds and have a cuppa and a good chat about equipment and objects.
