This was also 'first light' through a recently acquired Skywatcher MN190 Mak-Newt.
Only a single 72 second exposure at ISO 3200 with a K-5 iis DSLR as I couldn't mount the guide-scope properly on the top dovetail (will need holes drilled and/or a new puck). So a pretty noisy image but pleased to get something nonetheless.
Under a dark sky 46P was easily found in an 8x50 finder but as it's quite diffuse the overall surface brightness was not that high and I wasn't able to spot it with the naked eye.
