Suspect eBay scam

Bought a cheap astronomy item from - what I thought was and what was declared as - China. Total posted was $2.95 Australian, so nothing significant value wise.

Tracking purports the item was posted from Laos.

Didn't know Laos made and sold astronomy items of ANY type.

Hmmm. Tracking shows it as:
08 Oct 2018 09:57
Announced data uploaded
Laos

Checking the seller's feedback - LOTS of notes of spurious tracking/postage receipts.

Worth a shot for $3, and yes, I WILL be demanding a Paypal refund if it does turn out to be the scam I suspect.

I didn't do my due diligence for the $3 purchase as I always do for anything over $5, but I might from now on

Gee Lewis, although I see your point, why would you pursue it, for the 3 bucks. or is it the principal of it

I have bought cheap things in the recent past, thinking they were coming from China, but came out of Laos, complete with Laos Post tracking (which worked too).

Everything in my case arrived just fine, and like you, they were sub $10 items.
