Is the Vixen Starbook10 ST4 port standard ?

Hi,

Can't seem to find the information anywhere , I want to try autoguiding and thought I might start by using the ST4 port , though. I use a Intelnuc at the mount so pulse guiding maybe better ?

If this belongs in the beginners section let me know.

Cliff

You can change it to Vixen relay standard if you want to though .)

It’s all in the manual

Out of curiosity why not use the ethernet? If you're using NUC, I'm assuming you're using either SGP, N.I.N.A. etc.

I have N.I.N.A. and I use a wireless adapter and have N.I.N.A. control it via WiFi. Alternatively (which I recently encountered a clash of subnets in a recent astro outing), I use a crossover ethernet cable.

Thanks Sean,

I am using different programs , I do have Nina and APT installed on the NUC at the scope which is connected over the cross over cable to the Starbook10 then with remote desktop on my Mac I control it from inside mostly.
I have yet to try guiding hence the questions if the ST4 to the controller or direct over USB from the guide camera. Yet to get a guidescope.
