Grass Tree Blossom

Grass tree blossom on the Yacaaba Headland with birds feeding which could be Silvereye . Others might know better but they are hard to spot.

Something strange and magical about grass trees on an island above the sea. Just to round it out there were dingoes.

Apparently one can walk to the light house on the island behind at low tide but I think it would be a quick round trip on the edge. I would rather paddle and we did get close.

Interesting and unique Ray, good shot, be a good sunrise composition, but be quiet, dont wake up the hungry dingoes

Thanks Bob. You would have to get up early to beat the dingoes before dawn. It is more than a kilometre walk to the base in the sand, like that spit, and then a steep 200m elevation over a few more kilometres distance in the dark. Be fun though .

Good fun, I climbed Mount Ngungun 253mt once for the sunrise, never been there before, on my own, camera gear and a headlight. awesome views, had the top to my self for an hour after sunrise, then it crowded quick, I head down against all the oncoming people, thinking - you dont know what you missed
