The seeing gods decided to reward me for my persistence with Mars last night. Visibility started out terrible and Jupiter and Saturn were throwaway data, but as the wind died down and there was no jetstream Mars just kept improving.

Thanks! I had my eye on the jetstream which was almost non-existent, and the weather forecast showing the wind dying down. Looks like it was right for a change. Tonight's looking good already.
