SH2-54 and M16

I was casting around for a way to frame M16 in DSO Browser and came across this, pairing with SH2-54.

SH2-54 and M16

There is a huge amount of Ha between the two objects and some Oiii which I will process later but thought the LRGB might be of interest.

A few issues with stars that I hope I can resolve when I combine the NB.

Details
47*300sec LRGB
STL6303e
FSQ106N
AP900

Thanks for looking

Intersting composition. Looks like and eagle flying towards a monkey eating a little red grub

Looking forward to the full image

Sh2-54 aka Gum 85 - My favourite nebula. NGC 6604 is a nice, small OC that's also in this field of view.

Thanks Paul. It's an interesting area, hadn't noticed the OC before but will take another look. Spent a happy Sunday observing clusters last weekend with the Dob.

Cheers Colin. Was a real faff getting the framing right but pretty happy with it. Keep looking at it and can't find the critter back story just yet. Need MnT to chime in.

You're welcome David, yours is a cracker of an image.

It (Gum 85 & NGC 6604) was on my imaging list for this winter but circumstances and weather conspired against me though. :-( Maybe next year.
