Extra stars near crux

A friend on mine took these two images 1 hour apart using a DSLR mounted on a tripod both 30 seconds exposures. The second image has 2 extra stars and wavy lines. Could someone give me an explanation to this.

Two questions.
1) Could someone have bumped the equipment?
2) Was it windy?
Both produce similar symptoms, but 1) seems more probable. Only bright stars are likely produce multiple images or trails.
You need to use a wireless or cable release, or the camera's self timer to minimise shaking.

Yup, zoom slip (I always wedge mine with a cut popsicle stick)

I initially thought bugs... but zoom makes more sense.
