DSI woes

I went outside tonight to practice a bit more with my new DSI camera......

The bad news is my old, slow laptop running Windows 98 has died and wouldn't boot up tonight, so I couldn't run the camera.....

The good news is the minister for finance said I could buy a new laptop.....

The bad news is I have to clear a backlog of jobs around the house first......

The good news is I just sighted the centre of M31 in the light polluted northern sky. It was the faintest of smudges but I could just make it out using averted vision.
