ASIAir with Alt Az mount (any, but also specifically Nexstar)

Hi all,

Anyone with experience using ZWO ASIAir with an alt az mount? Google returns conficting answers, even from ZWO it seems. As long as the mount is INDI supported (as Nexstar is) it should work, however ive read Alt Az just doesnt work with ASIAir from user experience. ZWO rep has said that it should. :/
