Look what just popped up on the TS website

Teleskop-Express look to be getting ready to offer a TS152 APO, f8.

https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop...elescopes.html

No details yet, but Astrotech's 152mm f8 is in pre-order stage now, so things are going to heat up in this aperture space. Being that the TS152 is placed on the APO page I expect it to be image capable.

Here is the Astrotech scope details,

Exciting.

My God ! its 6 inch APO Refractor heaven at the moment ain't it ? what with a new 150mm f8 SW APO joining the ranks here thanks to DJM ,, nice time to be into astronomy right now for sure ,.

I actually believe that the price hike of FPL53 has done us all a favour in the long run with all these Lanthium / Low Dispersion ( FPL51 ? ) / ? , triplets hitting the market now and I have looked through a few 102 , 115 and 127mm triplets of this combo and they aint no slouches , far from it .

Tax time , ,,,,,

Brian.
