NGC7094 blue planetary in Pegasus

NGC7094 is a planetary nebula in Pegasus, near globular cluster M15, with an apparent diameter of 1.6 arcminutes. The filamentary structure reminds me of a plasma ball. There are numerous faint background galaxies in the vicinity of NGC7094.

Deforked Meade LX90 ACF 8" F10 SCT, ZWO ASI183mm Pro at -10C, 212 minutes for RGB, 588 minutes luminance, total 800 minutes / 13.3 hours, Svbony LRGB filter set.

Excellent. Plus on a Meade LX90, that was my first good scope. I presume the latest version will autoguide well.

Greg.

Thanks Mike! Haven't had too many clear skies here and the ones we did have I think I used them all up on this! Turned out okay I think.

Thanks Greg. It's just the OTA on a HEQ5 Pro. I seem to be getting a bit of guidescope flex so still a tiny bit of elongation. One year I'll get an OAG. Need it at 2000mm.

Thanks Chris! Haven't seen a lot of pics of this in Oz. Must be too far north for most.

Very good capture Kevin. These little gems always give a lot of satisfaction when they turn out well.

Beautifully done Kevin. The rather large number of background galaxies speaks of depth and adds to the feeling of near-and-far.

Thanks Geoff. I do like the gem like appearance of PN. And somehow every one is different.

Thanks M&T. Yes it's always fun to see the distant background galaxies that would otherwise go unnoticed.

You're captured some good filamentary structure with a smattering of galaxies throughout the field, nicely done

Thanks Paul. There's a few goodies I can see in the north from here.

Thanks Colin. I was happy that I captured a few filaments. I didn't see any on the individual subs. But lots of subs helps.

Great shot, Kevin
(Cloudy Mackay is obviously a helluva lot less cloudy than Cloudy Melbourne!)

Dunno about that Mark. We've had very few clear moonless nights here this winter. Might have to get some narrow band filters so I can at least take Ha in moonlight.

Thanks Greg. Sometimes it's hard to tell how they are going to turn out, but I guess that's half the fun of it!
