Just spotted the ISS

Sat down to dinner, watching the news, started up the laptop, opened up Stellarium,(yes---males CAN multi-task) first thing I see is a white blob roaring across the screen, click on it & ISS comes up, I'm straight out the door with the bino's & there it was, a large light ripping across the sky to the south(for me) the light was constant so no a/craft & moving fast, the bino's 10x50 brought it into focus but couldn't make anything out, got a smile going though!

It is a great sight to see. Watched it with my father and brother several nights ago travel from North to South East. I use ISS detector for Android, great app that you use your phone like a compass and spirit level to determine approx position in sky then when you raise the screen it shows a sky map with the path of object.

Very good for iridium flares too.
