Program for showing dates of planetary perigee to earth

Hello,

I was wondering what is the best program that shows the date where planets are in perigee (closest) to earth? Ideally I'd like it for a Mac but can cope with a PC if it is a better solution.

Cheers Spocky

I use the USNO MICA 1800-2050 software (with guide book) available at Willmann-Bell.

See https://www.willbell.com/almanacs/almanac_mica.htm

The USNO website is under maintenance until the end of April.

See https://www.usno.navy.mil/USNO

Follow Astronomical Applications, data services, more.. to Positions of Selected Celestial Objects

You can get an almanac for a given year or use the software to generate your own for a given date period between 1800 and 2050. Maker sure you update after purchase to the latest version available from Willmann-Bell software updates page.

The data you seek us probably available from a number of sources online. I like the quick and easy report format that MICA provides.

Edit: Perigee is defined as the point in the orbit of the Moon or satellite that is nearest to earth.
