The ESA is about to launch the GAIA spacecraft.

Live feed starts at 19:55 AEDST

GAIA on its way!

All proceeding to plan

The data accuracy, when our software programmes get a hold of it, will be amazing.

Goto's will be more accurate and for those who do astrometry, asteroidal occultations and other astronomy requiring stellar accuracy, our astro life will become much easier.
