It's fine Col - Thomas Cook shoved all the pax into cattle class, so the CoG is near the back, negating the use of a nosewheel.

Plus Thomas Cook doesn't exist anymore - it's obvious their aircraft were slowly dissolving into thin air.

They've pioneered 9-abreast seating on that 767, resulting in so much pax in steerage that they had to remove the nose gear to compensate for the CoG as Lewis said.

A picture sent to me by a friend today who pilots 737's,
including more recently the Max, which he reports he actually loves to fly.

My son (who is also a pilot) reckons that video is fake, he says the weight of the aircraft would have put 20 tonne onto the back of the Ute and crush it.
However it looks real to me.

Have a look at the new types of remote controlled airliner tugs:
https://www.mototok.com/hs-fs/hubfs/...wysmototok.png
Whilst they aren't carrying the weight, nor did the old diesel tugs. These new tugs are incredible.
I recall in my Tiger Moth days picking up the tail by the tailplane strut and putting the aircraft on my shoulder (pivoting the weight to the mainwheels, which seeing these are tail draggers is easy) to move it around. All about moment arms and pivots

Go on Col, pick up a Gypsy Major engine in your arms. Dare ya!
Tiger is a bit over 500kg empty by memory (~1100lb), so it's all about moment arms and pivot points.
Gee, ex-RAAFie and you call it a plane. Thou shalt repent...

This is what I meant....one of these....done many 100hrl'y servicing on this type and even repaired an elevator...the farmer went right
down the end of his ' grass strip ' , swung the aeroplane around and ' smacked ' the elevator on a ' black star picket ' holding
his fence up.
Fabric and ' glue ' saved the day
Col..

Yes, those radio controlled Decathalons/Citabrias are VERY light. I can pick one up in one hand.
A real one on the other hand
(you need to do another What's up with this picture on the picture you just posted...there's a few things
)
