Gamma and gain settings for Solar observing?

My mate and I am about to image through a Lunt 100 Tha with DMK 21. Any suggestions of gain and gamma settings that people have used?

I tend to keep the gain below 300 and the gamma also as low as possible.
You can always reprocess the results to pull out the available detail.
Some imagers use a higher gain to pull both the surface and prom detail.. I prefer separate exposures.
