Jupiter from Melbourne April 28, 2018

Hi everyone,

It has not been a great autumn weather wise for planetary imaging in Melbourne this year, but it was very good this morning for a change as the center of the High came over.

With Jove less than 2 weeks from opposition, it is now blazing away.

3000 frames each in RGB, ASI 290mm camera, 12.5" f/5 scope with 5 x Powermate.

Clear skies.

John K.

Nice work John - is the RGB spectrum (top right) one of Jupiter's satellites moving between filter changes?

Cheers

Dennis

Nice overall result John.
I like the large image scale from the 5xPM paired with your 12.5".
