Quiet Sun?????

Quiet sun - what quiet sun?????......

There's a small AR (AR 12703) swinging onto the surface - better than nothing.

I was thinking the same today when I was imaging the Sun. I didn’t even see that AR. Maybe wasn’t there when I was imaging at the time.

I'm afraid you may be correct. I did manage to grab some solar time first thing and the seeing was lovely. Best views went to the white light 102, the surface around the tiny sunspot showed clearly defined faculae and plenty of surface granulation visible. I'm always impressed with the Lunt Herschel wedge!

Been doing a daily solar check for several weeks now, bugga-all of nothing to see. Missed that little one obviously.
Now I have time to check each day nothing is happening !!
