Oh the trees...

Many nights I bemoan the trees and "why did we choose to live here"...etc etc

And then there's the wondrous mornings...not such a bad front yard really

Just as beautiful as the rings of Saturn. And right outside my front door.

Would need to be quiiiite high to get above the gums. Then there's the issue of vibrations through the mounting...

I'm not complaining. I live a blessed life.

Can you see the sky at all except at zenith?

Fantastic flora and fauna though, especially to be greeted to in the mornings.

Where I am at the moment is neat.

All sorts of birds, many parrots, a peacock who visits from next door, pretty face wallabies and a pair of hares who are magnificent.

There are some cows...brahma. ..so pretty....and a huge cat (twice the size of any cat I have seen)...

The timber is plantation which is unfortunate and its nice and high (and dark)...so much better than Sydney which is great as far as city goes cause its treeded and I dont see any neighbours.

This fellow just landed on my shoulder as I opened a door here. Gave me quite a start. Managed to dislodge him without either of us getting hurt. Isn't he beautiful!?

Don't point a telescope at any of the trees Les; one of our large trees got in the way of my telescope and was disintegrated.

A high powered laser would be very handy for trimming Les. As it is I keep adding sections to the pole saw until it becomes ungainly. From experience I cannot recommend standing on top of the chicken coop with a 12 foot pole saw
