Stacking Lunar Images from Canon 60D

I have batches of lunar images captured with a Canon 60D which has a resolution of 5184 x 3456(24MPix??). I never had any trouble stacking images from my old Canon 350D (Still an excellent camera) which has a much lower resolution. Neither Autostakkert or registax work. With Autostakkert I get the error that I have run out of ram ( I have 16GB) but windows shows this is not the case. Is there a way to stack lunar images from the 60D without cropping all the images?

You could try Hugin for Windows. Use it all the time in Linux. It downsizes the images and then resizes to avoid memory problems, afaik.

Here is a video showing how to use it for stacking. It's the Linux version but the interface isn't too different. In-fact, I recall copying the procedure from a Hugin Windows example. Google.

It's free...
