Intes MN56 5" f/6 Mak Newtonian

I haven't used this in ages, so time for it to find a new owner..

Original Intes MN56 - a 5" f/6 maksutov newtonian in nice condition. The optics are pristine - very contrasty and sharp edge to edge, it's collimated and ready to use. Comes with the original black screw-on dewcap and lid, tube rings with a Losmandy dovetail under, though could swap that for a Vixen rail if you wish. No finderscope. The OTA is russian battleship-grey and cosmetically very good though showing its age in a few places, and yes it has the "toastrack" baffle inside opposite the finder. The focuser is the original russian crayford - somewhat agricultural by modern standards, but works OK.

NB as with all Intes Mak-newtonians this is optimised for visual use and has a small secondary mirror - for imaging you may have to do some mods.

Pick up only in Sydney - $350.
