It's a five-part series - so one to go.

It may be we are the species that can infect the galaxy.
The show is The Human Universe which means it is ours and all we have to do is colonise.
And so a new era for humans.
Who wants to leave?

Brian Cox and the producers have done a great job.
It is not easy to make science popular but there is wide appeal appeal.
Entertaining and educational great presenter.

Exactly. Cox brings the romance to the topic. He has great appeal. I'd rather listen to him than some nerdy purist who wants to present all the detail and bore everyone to death. Not that those people aren't needed. They are. It's just that they have no place in getting the common man interested.

I will wait for the wormhole to appear near Saturn, have always wanted to live in an O'neil habitat, so will have to wait for that too.Might be hard to use telescopes in one of those though?
I hope if the space is all empty, we go forth and colonize worlds with out war and destruction of their native environments.

Yeah, I laughed when he said that.
Those damn cat lovers, I always knew they were the cause of the world's energy problems!

Nice series. Will watch again on DVD which is out soon.

I wonder what he'll do next? There are always hints in his previous works. Maybe he'll do something about space travel, or the future of mankind etc.
