STL power pack question

I am having issues with the power to my STL and want to eliminate the SBIG power pack as the cause before returning the camera for repair. Whats the best way to check if power is coming through the pack to the pin plug that connects to the CCD? I have no electronics experience.

Cheers

David,

https://www.sbig.com/site/assets/fil...ing_manual.pdf

Go to page 67 and make your own that connects to 12 volt source. It's only a DIN plug. A soldering iron, 1 DIN Plug, a bit of wire. Get a friend to help.

SBIG offer no assistance on procuring bits for the older stuff. Pity really. It's a nice camera. Their response, try astromart. Great support to those that have existing equipment.

Thanks Terry.

I suppose the question I should have asked is does anyone local have a power brick for an STL that I can connect to so I can eliminate a faulty power supply?

if I get no joy I will try the option you suggested

Cheers
