Just upgraded to an astrophotogrpahy rig so my beloved first scope is being neglected, and that makes me sad. I'd love for it to start someone else's journey like it did mine.
Bought new from Andrews last July. No scratches or marks worth mentioning, works like new. A little dust on the mirror but doesn't affect performance; no scratches at all and collimation seems perfect.
When buying it I compared it to the equivalents from Skywatcher and Saxon, and I'm pretty sure this is the best of the three. Lovely Crayford 11:1 focuser, excellent 1/12 wave primary mirror, cooling fan, proper tension bearings on the tube mounts.
Comes with the original 8x50mm finderscope and three Celestron eyepieces (40mm, 25mm, 10mm) and a 2x Barlow, giving magnifications from 30x to 240x. Also including my home-made solar filter which looks ugly but works a treat.
I've attached some photos taken with this telescope using a Celestron 2x Barlow T-adapter (not included).
Local pickup from NSW Central Coast strongly preferred; I *might* be able to meet you in Sydney.
Asking price is $450.
